TWO FUNDAMENTAL INDUSTRY SECTORS
BUILDING INSULATION
INSTALLER

The original Building Insulation Qualification was structured as a one-year programme. However, feedback from industry indicated that the duration and scope presented practical challenges, with a strong preference for shorter, application-specific training. In response, a request was submitted to restructure the qualification into targeted Skills Programmes covering the key building insulation applications of roofs, walls and floors.
These Skills Programmes are currently under development and are intended to provide more accessible, practical and industry-relevant training while maintaining the required competency standards.
